I did a much needed closet clean out last weekend. If I didn’t have a real reason to keep it, I pulled it. I’ve become much better at editing. The burden of having too much is something I think about, now more than ever. Quality pieces will always be worn and outlast everything else. Not quite sure how to explain it, but I haven’t felt the sudden shift of a new year like I have in years past (2023 and 2024 posts). It’s not a bad thing, I actually think it’s rather a calm way to enter a new year. I feel ready, the same, content, all while being excited for whats next in 2025.

It’s late into January and I’m still saying Happy New Year! Do you still do that? Until we hit February 1, I think we still can. I’m looking forward to the fresh start and beginning of something new. Although our days and weeks may look the same, I’m ready to incorporate newness to our routines, home, beauty regimen, and wardrobe … and really, any little thing I can freshen up is always a great idea.
