I have always had a love for jewelry. If you knew me years ago, my right wrist was stacked with all the gold bracelets I could find. Now, I rarely wear anything on my wrists (besides an old gold watch I “borrowed” from my Dad many years ago, and although it stopped working, it is such a sentimental piece). A gold necklace … we all should own one. It looks beautiful against any color or print, dressy or casual. I discovered Brinker & Eliza late last year. I pre-ordered the Spiral Staircase Necklace in November and received it about a month ago. Worth the wait!
This specific necklace is light, the perfect amount of chunk, and the chain length is adjustable, which I’m a big fan of. What I also adore about this brand is that it is a mother and daughter design duo, who have been creating and desiging together for years. I love to read beyond a brand or product. Who makes it? What is unique about their story? It adds a little something else to what I’m buying, and I feel like I did my research (and then of course, I enjoy sharing it with others!).
I truly do not need an excuse to treat myself, however, I do not have an unlimited budget. For me, I find it special to purchase something new for a vacation, a date night or to remember a celebratory moment. More to cherish with a bit of meaning behind it!
