Another cozy season is upon us and I’m delighted to bring on the Fall feels and warming up our home. What does that mean to you? To me, it means layering in woven and brass decor to tables and shelves, adding block prints and plaids, and lots of candles. The charm of having a layered look of flowers on top of coffee table books and lots of framed photos, sounds just right. I’m a seasons gal, so why not embrace the joy and warmth of it all.
I want that feeling of a lived in layered look, a touch of cozy, while still being elegant. Think English country meets Ralph Lauren living. I’m a big believer in that small shifts or added detail can certainly have a big impact.
Print photos from Summer, frame them and pile them on your entry table, add a small lamp to a corner of your kitchen or your bar cart, add extra pillows to your couch or kitchen bench, or move around existing art to change the mood. Oh, and baskets, lots of baskets.
